The AutoPill Smart Pill Dispenser is designed to organize and dispense medication at the allocated time of intake. It also allows for easy telecommunication with doctors and provides a security system to keep pills contained. It is simple to register and use.
How it Works
First, the user must go to the AutoPill website and register your personal and medical information. Next, the dispenser will use it's webcam to register the user's and caretaker's faces. It will use facial recognition when unlocking and locking pill compartments
When the time comes to fill/refill medication, the user will tap their pill bottles on the RFID sensor located on the right side of the box. The dispenser will recognize the medication and unlock the pill compartments, allowing you to transfer them to their respective containers
When it is time for the user to take their medication, the correct amount of pills will be dispensed and a message will appear on the screen alerting the user that their medication has been dispensed
